Fireside Reds by Kuitpo Kollective
We’re super proud to announce that we have joined the Kuitpo Kollective — a group of independent wine and beer producers who call the Kuitpo region home.
There is a quiet corner of the southern Adelaide Hills where vineyards meet forests, roads fade into woodlands and smoke curls from chimneys into the crisp winter air.
That place is Kuitpo and for one day only, six local producers invite you to discover its enchanting landscape and the wines, beer and food it inspires.
The Kuitpo Kollective returns to present Fireside Reds on Saturday 25th July at the historic Kuitpo Hall, as part of the Adelaide Hills Winter Reds festival.
The Kollective brings together K1 Wines by Geoff Hardy, Lloyd Brothers, Lazy Ballerina, XO Wines, Manser Wines and Kuitpo Brewing, all of whom call the Kuitpo district home.
The 100-year-old hall will host dedicated tasting sessions from all the producers – a chance to meet the maker. Outside, you can warm your hands by the fire pits and your belly with generous winter fare from Quality Events. The music, curated by veteran DJ Mike Wells a.k.a. DJ Wellsaid, will reverberate through the air into the towering Kuitpo Forest.
Your entry ticket includes a commemorative wine glass and a drink on arrival, with the event also featured on the official Adelaide Hills Winter Reds Blue Bus Loop, making it easy to include Fireside Reds as part of a weekend exploring the region.
As winter settles over Kuitpo Forest, Fireside Reds offers more than a day of tasting. It is an invitation to slow down, gather around the fire and discover a place whose greatest strength has always been the people who call it home.
